Mileage tracking just stops frequently

The mileage tracking stopped working August 31st, again. This happens at least once or more every year. I have not changed any setting in my phone. All the necessary and recommended settings are enabled and have never changed. The function just won’t ever start. I have to manually start the tracker before my drives. This is hard to remember because QB(when it’s working) will just auto track for me so I typically don’t have to think about it. What do I do to get it working again? I’ve lost months of drives and have lost faith in the reliability

Mileage tracking just stops frequently

Quick update to this. Very strange, all the sudden my mileage tracker just magically started working again this morning. Thank you to whoever turned it back on for me.
