Missing data

I can't get Quickbooks to pull in four months worth of data from my bank account. It has the first four months of the year and the last four, but it's missing April - September. What can I do to make it import this data?

Missing data

I know the possible reason why your transactions are missing, Bella07.

Some banks let you download up to 24 months of data, but most banks can only download the last 90 days of transactions from your bank, which may cause your April-September records to be missing.

You'll need to get these records from your bank, here's how:

  1. Sign in to your bank or credit card's website.
  2. Follow your bank's instructions for how to download CSV files of your transactions to your computer. Every financial institution has different steps.
  3. Check the date range for the download. It should be at least one day before the date of your oldest transaction.
  4. Download your transactions. Save the file somewhere you can easily find it, like your computer's desktop.

If possible, pick the QuickBooks Online data (QBO) format. These are formatted specifically for QuickBooks Online. You can also upload transactions from a CSV or Quicken (QFX) file.

To manually upload the transactions, please click this link and follow Step 4: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Additionally, I'll share this link to help you record, edit, and delete expenses: Enter and manage expenses in QuickBooks Online.

Missing data

You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.

Missing data

Hi. I am having problems with a connection to Barclays especially on the desktop, but also on mobile app. The data was all absolutely fine until a few days ago. Then, without warning my connection seemed to have stopped updating. I.E. the connection was still active, but the figures were not updating. I unlinked the accounts and then linked them again, but then found that all my data up until 18th November 2024 was completely gone/missing/disappeared on the desktop version. On the mobile app, the transactions are still there if I scroll down, but the figures in the dashboard are incorrect as per the desktop.

I have since tried unlinking and re-linking and even uploading a CSV file manually. the data is still not there. I have read your advice but it isn't working for me. Can you help?
