Join nowHello - in my Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2020 program, I have a Company file that I have been working with for about 2 years now.
Given recent changes in the business operations, I will need to activate the multi-currency feature within QB, to handle both USD and CDN currencies. Prior to activating the multi currencies, is there anything I need to be aware of pertaining to my vendors listing, customer listing, or bank account balances? Some of the vendors and customers will need to be switched from the base/home currency, along with one of the bank balances (which I have just been manually converting). Does any one if there errors or historical balance issues that will occur will when I activate the multi currency feature?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

You may purchase a 3rd party service to disable the multi currency feature later if required.
As for your your existing data, you may need a migration tool to change the currency in bulk. You will export the data out to XLS, modify it, and import it back into your file.
