My client is looking for a report that will provide all invoices, payments applied to those invoices and open balance at year end for each project for 2022?

Only the names of the customers, their payments, and their invoices are displayed in the Invoices and Received Payment report. However, you can run a variety of reports that are connected to consumer data. Having said that, you can access and modify the Transaction List by Customer report, which will display every invoice, every payment that has been applied to each invoice, the open balance, and the total.

Here's how:

1. Go to Business overview and select Reports.
2. Find and locate the Transaction List by Customer report.
3. Select the Customize button.
4. Click the Rows/Columns drop-down arrow and checkmark the Open Balance and A/R paid boxes.
5. Go to the Filter drop-down arrow and choose Transaction Type and select Payments and Invoice. Then, A/R paid box and choose All to show the correct balance.
6. Click Run report.

Thanks for your reply.  While the report you suggested gets closer to what I am looking for, the total is just weird.  I don't need a total of the transactions - invoices and payments added together??  

A customer statement would work for me but there does not appear to be a way to run a statement by project.  Lumping all transactions from one customer that has multiple projects is pointless.  It needs to be separated by project.  There seem to be very few options to customize this statement to fit my needs.  

I have provided feedback on this issue.  Is there a way to find out if this is being considered in an update?
