My ebay acct is linked to my QB Online. It auto pulls the daily sales/expenses. It lumps ebay fees, shipping expenses together as ebay fees. How can I keep that separate.

When I look at my daily expense transactions, QB puts my ebay seller fees and shipping expenses in the same expense account. What do I need to change in ebay or QB to put the shipping expenses in an actual shipping expenses account in my GL.  I can do it manually but seems it should be able to pull correctly on a daily basis.

Welcome to the community, Rick.

I'll assure you I can help you with your eBay issue.

The information that you set up on eBay will automatically be in QuickBooks Online. If you want to choose an account to utilize for your fee, you may follow these steps:

  1. In the left navigation panel, select Banking.
  2. Click Transactions.
  3. Select App settings, then eBay Payments.
  4. Select the tab for the type of setting you want to change.

You can make some financial reports to see the summary of your business's financial status.

You can explore to use a 3rd party connector to reconcile your eBay transactions into QBO.
