thank you for responding to my question. Unfortunately, the proposed solution does not address what I am trying to do.
I don't need to change the income account. I want to change the receivable account. Why don't you allow different types of products or services to attach to different receivables accounts?
Also, It is clear that these invoices USED to go to a different receivables account, but something has changed recently. When and why did this feature change?

Please note that QuickBooks Online is designed for medium-sized businesses, which typically require simpler accounting needs compared to larger enterprises.
Although you can create multiple A/R accounts, the system will only use the default receivable account when creating sales transactions.
As a workaround, you can create a journal entry to move the amounts or balances from one A/R to another. Here's an article as a guide: Create Journal Entries In QuickBooks Online.
You may also consider sending a product suggestion or providing feedback about being able to use multiple A/R accounts in QuickBooks Online. The engineering team reviews customer input when planning new updates.
