With QuickBooks, running Detail versions of standard reports only applies to QBO Essentials, Plus, and Advanced versions. If you're subscribed to the QBO Simple Start trial version, the Vendor Balance Detail report won't appear because this plan doesn't include a billing feature.
However, if you aren't using a Simple Start version, sometimes stored cache files within your regular browser can cause an interruption in using our features. I tried the following, but still cannot find the Vendor Balance Detail Report:
1. Opened QBO trial account in a private browser + cleared cache
2. Upgraded to QBO Plus
Please suggest other options.

Since you're using a Plus subscription, which does have a Vendor Balance Detail report available, but still aren't able to find it in your Reports area, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Care team. They'll be able to pull up the account in a secure environment, conduct further research with you, and create an investigation ticket if necessary.
