Need a Print Option on Bill

Hi office,

Welcome aboard to the Community. I'm here to assist you with any concern you may have about Bills in QuickBooks Online.

Right now, you can only print the bills through the Transaction list or by running reports available in the QuickBooks system. For now, an option to print directly on a single bill is not yet available in the Online version.

To print bills through the Transaction List section, please follow these steps:

  1. On the left panel, click Expenses.
  2. Go to the Vendors tab.
  3. Click the vendor name.
  4. Go to the Transaction List tab.
  5. Click Filter.
  6. Below Type, choose Bills.
  7. Choose a date range.
  8. Click Apply.
  9. Click the printer icon on the right side.
  10. Click Print.

You can check this screenshot:

If you want to print them through a report, you can try running the Transaction List by Vendor report.

Here's how:

  1. On the left panel, click Reports.
  2. In the search bar, type in Transaction and select Transaction List by Vendor.
  3. Choose a date range.
  4. Click Customize.
  5. Go to Filter.
  6. Put a check mark beside Transaction Type, and choose Bills.
  7. Put a check mark beside Vendor, and choose the vendors you want to filter in the report.
  8. Click Run Report.

Feel free to reach out to me for any additional assistance you need concerning the printing of bills. The Community is always here to help.

Thank you!  Will follow the steps.

Silly me looking for a simple way to print a  bill.

Someone at QB should step up and make it a whole lot easier and add a print bill option.  Just like you have on invoices.

So I see many people are also asking for this option.

When will you provide a print option on bills???  Is it being worked on????

Can not be that hard for your staff.  Have seen people asking since November of last year.

I need to be able to print bills too.  I also agree that it's ridiculous that it hasn't bee fixed yet.

There are way too many issues like this in the online version.  Come on Intuit, help your users to use, and pay for, your product.

I gave up!  Biz can't wait.  You are right we pay too much each month not to have our suggestions considered.

As a work around.....  I went back to just posting all expenses on checks.  I post date check for when I am going to pay.  Best I can do.  You are the first to respond to me email.  Hang in there.  T
