Need a report that shows all employees hourly rate?

Hello all, I can't believe I cannot figure out how to do this, but I'm at a loss. I need a very simple report that will show essentially two things: 1) each employees name, and 2) their current hourly wage. Any ideas how to accomplish this?

Hi, @THEGECCO. I'd be glad to assist you today.

You can consider running the Employee Contact List report in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to show data on your employees' names and their current hourly wages. Here are the customizations you can follow:

In your QBDT, go to the Reports menu.
From Employees & Payroll, select Employee Contact List.
Click on Customize Report.
Select the Display tab, and put a checkmark for Earnings 1/Rate, Earnings 2/Rate, and the rest of the earnings columns if applicable.
If you only need the employees' names and their current hourly wage, you can uncheck the following:
a. SS No.
b. Address
c. Gender
d. Main Phone
Hit OK.

If you need to save the current customizations of the report, let me add this article as a reference: Create, access and modify memorized reports.

Great report but only shows 8 Earnings Items. Is there a way to include ALL Earnings Items setup?

I can certainly understand how an ability to add all earning rates and items to reports could be useful and have submitted a suggestion about it as of today.

You can also submit your own feature requests while signed in.

Here's how:

In the top menu bar, go to Help, then Send Feedback Online.
Choose Product Suggestion and enter your feedback suggestion.
Select Send Feedback.

Your feedback's definitely valuable to Intuit. It will be reviewed by our Product Development team and considered in future updates. You can stay up-to-date with the latest news about your product by reviewing Intuit's Product Updates webpage.

As a workaround, you can export reports and customize them further outside of QuickBooks.
