I'm using QB 2022 Desktop Pro Plus. There is no income showing on P&L, I use invoices and record them as paid. I don't know what to do, I've googled this issue and tried everything that I could find. I'm over my head apparently. I'm not sure if it's possible I entered items incorrectly in the item list? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
Which accounts are posted to are determined by the item used on the invoice or sales receipt.
edit each item and check the income account you selected, change it if necessary
I went to the item list and changed the Income Account to Sales and the Expense Account to Cost of Goods Sold. Is this the correct set up?
