On the vendor screen, my "Mark as paid" option is not there anymore.

Open invoices for Vendors would show option on the Action tab, to "Mark as Paid", this then would give me an option to pay the bill/invoice and then cut check. Don't have that option any more.

I'm here to guide how you can make pay the bill.

 

You can pay the bill (vendor's invoice) by clicking the Make payment button. Here's how:

 

  1. From the Expenses tab, select Vendors.
  2. Locate the vendor's name.
  3. Under ACTION, click the Pay bills online drop-down.
  4. Select Make payment.
  5. Fill in the necessary information.
  6. Click Save and close.

On the vendor screen, my "Mark as paid" option is not there anymore.

Why was the Mark as Paid action removed?

It takes more "clicks" now to get to the same place?

Now I have to open the Bill then pick the action to Mark as Paid.

I understand how important the Mark as Paid button is. However, in QuickBooks Online, this option is unavailable. As a workaround, we can use the steps outlined by my colleague above to mark the bills as paid.

 

While it is unavailable, I recommend providing feedback through your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. This way, it goes to our product developers to help improve the program experience. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the upper right and select Feedback under Profile.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions. You can also attach a screenshot or file to combine them all.
  3. Click Next.

  4. You'll be provided a list of suggested help articles related to your comments. You can read through them or choose Skip and send message.
  5. Select the appropriate category from the drop-down menu.
  6. Tap Send message.

so it's unavailable now?  As of 2 days ago it was there, are you saying it just got removed?  I will use the "feedback" option and send a message.

The thing is, it was available up until this week. I don't know why they would have removed it.

Seems odd.
