Owner Equity Payment into LLC

So I am working on the books for a dual member LLC Partnership.

This LLC also owns membership in 2 other LLC's and receives Owners Compensation Equity Payments every quarter from these companies. I was wondering what is best way to categorize the incoming equity payments.

Would it be best to setup individual accounts for each LLC that this company is receiving payments from best way to categorize these payments since the LLC's are flow through.

Owner Equity Payment into LLC

I do not know if it is definition or just a misconception, but an equity compensation is for employees, not owners.  You should check with a tax accountant to insure you treat this as it is supposed to be treated.
