P & L Reports

I have two bank accounts linked is there a way to get two separate P & L reports for each account?

P & L Reports

Good day, @natannyc.

A Profit and loss report, also known as an income statement, is a financial report that shows a business’s net income by subtracting total costs and expenses from total income and revenue. This will show a business’s revenues and expenses over time.

For now, the option to filter the report according to bank accounts is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

I can see the importance of having this feature in reviewing your financial data in QuickBooks. Thus, I'll take note of this as a suggestion to help improve your QuickBooks experience.

In the meantime, you can click the amounts in the report to view its breakdown. You can also export your data to Excel and manually review your bank transactions from there. Simply click the Export icon and select Export to Excel

On the other hand, you can send feedback to our developers. That way, they can check your product request and most likely include them in upcoming future updates.

Here's how to send your suggestions:

  1. Click the Gear icon at the top and select Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then, click Next to submit feedback.

Your valuable feedback goes to our Product Development team to help enhance your experience in QBO. You can track feature requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.

General reports in QuickBooks give you tons of great info about your business. We can customize its filter to show the right data in the right place. This will help you focus on the specific details that matter the most to your business.
