Join nowI am budgeting for the year. When I run a budget vs actuals report part way through the year, the numbers in the Budget column are adjusted to the portion of the year that has elapsed. I want to see the budget numbers for the entire year instead. Is there a way to do this?
Thank you
Because QBO budgets use monthly amounts or a calculation using the months of the report period vs the quarterly or annual budgets, to get the comparison you want, it appears that it'll involve two reports and exporting to Excel. I would be thrilled if I was wrong, but here's what I see as the workaround:
Prepare a Budget v Actual for the whole year, export to Excel, then again for the partial year, export to Excel. Copy/paste so they're next to one another, and hide some columns.
Thanks for the quick response! That's a good idea. I'll give it a try.
