payroll liability adjustments

Can anyone tell me if there is a report or a way to show any/all payroll liability adjustments made?  For example;  I can go to Payroll Item list, click on say SDI-Company and under reports, do a Payroll Item Quick Report and that will list all the paychecks, but also show any liability payment made and any adjustment made.  But I'm wondering if its possible to see all the Payroll items with liability payments and/or adjustments without seeing every single paycheck, which creates pages and pages to the report.  I just want to see a list of the adjustments if possible.

I'll be glad to @rollanda,

You can use the Transactions by Payroll Liability Item report to view both liability payments and adjustments.

Here's how:

  1. On your Home Page, tap the Pay Liabilities icon.
  2. Scroll down towards Reports, then choose Payroll Liability Balances.
  3. In the report, select Customize Report at the top and then the Filters tab.
  4. In the Search Filters field, enter Transaction Type.
  5. From the Transaction Type drop-down, pick Multiple Transaction Types.
  6. Select Payroll Liability Check and Liability Adjustment. See the image below.
  7. Click OK and then OK to close out.
  8. Double-click the total amount in the Balance column to see the Transactions by Payroll Liability Item.

With the above steps, you're able to view transactions such as liability adjustments, paychecks, and liability checks. Learn more about customizing reports in this article: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop.
