Buy nowI have not been able to upload PDFs in Transactions -> Add Receipt from August 1st. QBs rep has confirmed this is problem in the backend and they are working on fixing it.
How can it take QBs 7+ days to fix an old feature that they broke?
I am shocked at the state of affairs!
We understand the inconvenience of not being able to upload PDFs in transactions, smartyram.
We're unable to provide a specific time frame as to when this gets resolved. Please know that our engineers are in the process of implementing a fix that will solve the issue.
As a workaround, you can upload the receipt using the mobile app. Let me show you how:

It is now three weeks and this problem has not been fixed. Looks like multiple people are facing this issue. There are numerous posts on this forum about PDF upload not working.
Please escalate and get this fixed ASAP.
I can see how difficult this has been, @smartyram. I know that you've done everything you could to resolve the uploading receipt issue in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). So I'm here to provide additional information about this.
This issue has already been raised to our engineering team and we're still working to find a permanent fix. Rest assured that they're dedicated to doing everything they can to resolve the issue. In the meantime, you may perform the recommended workaround outlined by my colleague above in uploading the receipt via the mobile app.
Also, if you haven't already, I recommend contacting our Customer Care team to add your account to the list of affected users. This way, you'll receive email updates about the status of the investigation. Here's how:
