Print list of credits

I have the management of a small condominium community. I collect Homeowner fees each month. Some homeowners always have a credit balance. On the first of the month I scan the Customer balance and clear any invoice when the account has adequate funds.

Is there a way to print a list of all credits applied on a given date or during a given month?

Print list of credits

Good day, Bob Pisaturo.

I'd be happy to help you with printing a list of credits in QuickBooks Desktop.

I know a report that contains the information you need, you can pull up and customize the Customer Balance Detail report.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Reports at the top menu bar.
  2. On the drop-down list, click Customers & Receivables and select Customer Balance Detail report.
  3. Click Customize Report.
  4. Under Columns, search and select for Credit and Open Balance in the search field.
  5. Hit OK.
  6. Change the desired date.
  7. You'll see the credit that was applied to the invoices and the customer's open balance.

I've attached some screenshots to serve as your reference.

@Rose-A

Please Learn from the input here.

You can Filter an AR report on Amount, so Amount <= 0 will show Only negative AR = customer Credit balances. This is for AR Aging Summary or Detail. I use AR Aging Summary; filter. Retitle it to Customer Credits Available. Memorize it. Now you it from your own Memorized Reports Listing. And add it to the leftside Shortcuts bar, the Favorites reports. I run this every month, before printing and sending invoices, to apply their Credits.

Please see my attachment.
