Buy nowQB ONLINE Team,
People have been asking for this for more than four years based on my research.
With the huge increase of the gig economy, so many of us need to actually create the invoice FOR our contractors. While we do that so that we can then use your online bill pay function, we HAVE to be able to give them a piece of paper that represents their invoice to us. This is MAJOR as we all want and need to hire this type of human capital. And we shouldn't have to find a 3rd party app to do it.
Please please address this request which has been on the request list for years. None of us can be that unresponsive to our customers....!?!
Hi sara843.
Thanks for taking the time to reach out and voice your concerns.
We know how important it is to have this feature in managing your bills. While this is unavailable in QuickBooks Online, I recommend sending feedback to our Product Development Team. We roll out updates based on the number of requests that we receive from our customers.
Here's how to submit your request:
I've also gone ahead and sent in your concerns to our Development team on your behalf.
Please know that you can follow request updates by using our Blog Site anytime.
I'm always around if you have any questions or concerns. Take care!
It is absolutely ridiculous that a software designed for bookkeeping does not have the feature for printing bills!!! I mean, you don't have to be a genius to figure this out! And still after years of users complaining, nothing has been done about this!!!
Let me provide some information about this, @CRealme.
If you're referring to printing the bill itself, know that this feature is currently unavailable. However, we can print a list containing all the bill transactions.
Here's how:
Alternatively, we can select the specific bill and press Ctrl + P.
In addition, I'll add this guide about tracking bill payments in QBO: Enter and manage bills and bill payments in QuickBooks Online.

This is not what I am looking for... I need a printed statement with details of a specific bill, not a printed list of all the bills on the screen. I still can't believe this is not a function of an ACCOUNTING software... and that users have been asking for a fix for years and this is still an unresolved issue!!!
I can't believe this is QB's answer... I need to be able to print a bill with its specifics, not a printed list of all my bills! Absolutely ridiculous an ACCOUNTING software doesn't have this functionality, and even worse that users have been complaining about this for years and still nothing has been done!!!
Time to look for another software, I guess...
I value your thoughts about printing bills in QuickBooks Online (QBO), CRealme.
I understand the importance of printing your bill entries in our system with their specifics. While it's unavailable, I suggest sending a feature request directly to our product developers. It'll enable them to evaluate the possibility of incorporating this idea in the upcoming updates.
To start:
Your input directly influences the updates we roll out, so the more requests we receive from our customers, the faster we can make it happen. You can track feature requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.
On the other hand, you may consider checking the resources from this material for more hints as you continue tracking your vendor bills and their payments: Enter and manage bills and bill payments in QuickBooks Online.
Additionally, you can utilize a Check or an Expense to report a transaction as an expense and a payment simultaneously.
Keep me posted if you still have questions while handling your bills in our system. I am here to assist you in any way I can.
