Product Categories Issue in QBO

Does anyone else experience a glitch with the Product Categories page in QBO after making changes to a specific category? Every time I make a change to a Category and press save, QBO's screen turns gray and doesn't reload, I have to refresh the page manually which returns me back to page 1 and loses where we were working. This is highly frustrating when were are making changes to a high quantity of Categories.

 

Also, when we set the page to show 300 items, this setting never saves. We always have to select 300 in the drop-down menu.

 

QBO can you fix these glitches?

 

QBO if you are reading this, please make a search function to Product Categories. We have over 2000 categories, scrolling through all the tabs is just not productive.

Product Categories Issue in QBO

I've checked here on my end and found out that there's an ongoing investigation on QBO that freezes up after adding a product category. Our engineers are aware of the issue and are in the process of being prioritized/investigated.

 

In this case, I recommend reaching out to our Technical Support Team. They'll add you to the list of affected users then you'll receive an email notification once we resolve this. You can also provide this investigation number (INV-88923). Here's how to reach them:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Click Help (?).
  3. Select either tab to get started:
  • Assistant: Get quick, personalized answers. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with. If you decide you need further help, you can still Talk to a human.
  • Search: Search the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
    • Start a chat with a support expert.
    • Get a callback from the next available expert.
