Profit and loss report issue

using QBO online Essentials when i follow instructions to run a profit and loss report with detail it leaves off Loan Payments and Owner Pay’s.    How do i pull a detailed expense and income report that shows ALL expenses including loan payments and owners pays?

Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community. I'll ensure you'll be able to run a specific report that shows what you need.

 

I suggest running the Transaction Detail by Account and customized it. This way, you're able to filter the Distribution Account to add all accounts that you want to appear. Then, it will show all the income and expenses associated with loan payments and owners' pays in one report.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Reports menu on the left panel.
  2. Choose Transaction Detail by Account in the search bar.
  3. Click the Customize button.
  4. Select the Filter drop-down arrow. Then, checkmark the Distribution Account box.
  5. Choose different accounts that you want to view/add in the report.
  6. Hit Run report.
