I'll share some information when using projects to guide you on what to do with your customer, motoanna.
You can use projects to track your project's profitability. If you're trying to run reports from the Projects feature or want to use the Profitability report for your motorcycle touring company, assigning projects to multiple customers is unavailable. As a workaround, you'll have to create a project for each of your customers.
You can also use the Class and Location tracking feature in QuickBooks Online (QBO). This is outside the Projects feature, however, you can use them to get deeper insights into your sales, expenses, or profitability for each part of your business.
Once these features are turned on and set up correctly, you can clearly see which area of business is thriving, and which isn't. You can check out these articles for more information:
Furthermore, QuickBooks offers different kinds of reports that cater to your business need. You'll just have to customize them so it would show the data you need most. I've got this article for your reference: Customize Reports In QuickBooks Online.
