QBDT 2019 Which Reports exclude inactive customers/jobs?

The exclusion of inactive customers/jobs seems random from one report to another, and I don't see a filter setting that allows inclusion or exclusion of results according to Customer/Job inactive/active status. What am I missing? Thanks.

QBDT 2019 Which Reports exclude inactive customers/jobs?

Hello, @Scribo.

I can see how much effort it would take to pick the needed transactions and exclude the unwanted ones. I'm here to make sure you'll be able to manage your reports accordingly.

To isolate the issue, you can customize your report. Here's how:

  1. From the report's page, go to the Customize report tab.
  2. Switch to the Filters column, then search for Name.
  3. Click on Multiple names, then pick only the active customers and jobs.
  4. If necessary, make additional customization.

Moving forward, you can save the current settings of your report, so you won't go through the same adjustments in the future. You can use this link as your guide: Create, access, and modify memorized reports.

Moreover, here are some of our helpful articles you can read more about handling customer transactions and reports:

QBDT 2019 Which Reports exclude inactive customers/jobs?

Thanks for the response. What I understand from your answer is that there is no way to limit report results to Active customers/jobs unless the names of the active customers/jobs are manually selected through the report name filter. That is disappointing news. Thanks, anyway.
