QBO Excel Query

Is there a way to access our QBO company file using an Excel query? I find the available reports lacking.

QBO Excel Query

Hi areel,

I'm here to answer your query on how you can access QuickBooks Online.

The option to access your QuickBooks account through Excel query isn't available. Instead, you can visit our official page and log into your account from there. QuickBooks Online also offers mobile apps for iOS and Android devices, which you can download from the respective app stores.

As for the reporting, you can export them to an Excel file and modify it to add some data that you want to show on the report. Here's how to export:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Under TOOLS, select Export data.
  3. Choose a reason for exporting.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Go to the Reports tab.
  6. Select the date range.
  7. Toggle the button that you want to export.
  8. Click Export to Excel.

Furthermore, you can browse this page that has a complete topic on the different QuickBooks tasks: Help Articles page.

You can always post in the forum whenever you have concerns with your QuickBooks account.

@areel

Consider having a BI app to integrate with QBO.
