QBO Transaction Detail by Class

To generate the transaction details by class, you can use the Transaction Detail by Account report, which offers extensive customization options. Here's how to create a Transaction Detail by Class report:

1. Go to the Reports menu on the left-hand sidebar.

4. In the Rows/Columns section, click Change columns and ensure the Class checkbox is selected.
   
   
   
   
5. In the Filter section, find the Class dropdown and select the specific class(es) you want to view. Alternatively, you can filter by Transaction type.
   • Tip: If you'd like to group all transactions by class, leave the filter off and instead select Class in the Group by dropdown at the top of the report.
     
     

Once you’ve customized the report, you can click Save As to save it under a name of your choice, like Transaction Detail by Class, so it’s easy to locate in the future. Alternatively, you can find it under Custom Reports.
