Can I add a new invoice if I processed a customer payment via credit card in error. Refunded credit card but invoice is still showing paid.

Customer paid cash for the invoice but it's now showing a credit on the account.  Not sure how to clear the credit because original invoice is showing paid from the credit card payment.

Yes, you can add a new invoice for your customer, pandlcg.

 

We can record a new invoice and use the receive payment section to clear the customer's credit. Here's how:

 

  1. Click + New in the left panel and choose Invoice.

  2. Select the customer's name.
  3. Enter the necessary information.
  4. Hit Save and close.
