Can i fix expenses that should be categorized as deposits

It's great to see you here in the QuickBooks Community, @usertregisolson.

 

Are you referring to your downloaded banking transactions that were categorized as an expense by your bank? If so, you can exclude them from the Banking page so they won't affect your records.

 

Let me show you how:

 

  1. Go to the Transactions/Banking menu and select Banking.
  2. Look for the bank and click it to show the list of downloaded banking transactions.
  3. Check the boxes for the transactions that you wanted to exclude.
  4. Click Exclude and select Confirm.

In case you accidentally exclude the wrong transaction, just go to the Excluded tab. Then, select the checkbox for the transaction and click Undo. They will go back to the For Review tab so you can decide what to do with it again.
