We’ve enhanced the chart of accounts experience in QuickBooks Online (QBO). This is to help small business owners retain a good structure with their accounts. Aside from that, it reduces the manual work of classifying bank transactions by improving the categorization accuracy rate.
Since you’re seeing the New category window, switch to the Accountant view to display the Account window. Follow the steps do this one in your company.
Here’s how:
- In QBO, head to the Gear icon in the upper right and go to the Profile section.
- Hover your mouse to the bottom part of the screen and click the Switch to Accountant view link.
