Yes, we can, and I can guide you in removing the Quick Response (QR) code when sending invoices from QuickBooks Online (QBO), office.
As part of the new updates on invoicing your clients, QuickBooks creates an ability to enable customers to pay their open balances through pay links or QR codes. Payors can quickly scan the QR code on printed invoices using their phone camera and access the online payment website.
Since you prefer to remove this one, we can do that but only to a specific form style. Thus, to eliminate this functionality, we can use the Airy New form style and remove the QR code. Here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon and select Custom Form Style.
- Locate the template you're using for your invoices, and click Edit.
- In the Design tab, click the Dive in with a template to make changes, and choose Airy New.
- Then, hit Done to save changes.
After that, follow these steps to remove QR codes on invoice PDFs:
- Click the +New and select Invoice.
- Fill in the necessary details of the transaction.
- Hit the print, preview PDF, and download part of the invoice. Then, untick the Add a Pay invoice link and Add a QR code box.
- Then, save the changes.
Furthermore, you can check out this article to see how you can record an invoice payment once your client pays their statement of charges: Record an invoice payment.
