customized accounts payable report

How do I customize my accounts payable report per job . I need to see in the report the total amount of a bill that is open and not a detailed one as expenses were logged in the system.

customized accounts payable report

Currently, the customized account's payable report can't be tailored to show the bill as a total amount only, @WSC4887.

Even if the bill is assigned to a single vendor, if it is created from a different date and has distinct items, it will show in detail.

With that in mind, you can export this report via Excel and modify it there to show the total bill only. Here's how:

  1. In that Customize Accounts Payable report, click Excel on the upper tab options.
  2. Choose either Create New Worksheet or Update Existing Worksheet.

  3. If you see a message that says your report has too many columns, select Advanced, then uncheck the Space between columns checkbox. Select OK.
  4. Once done, tick OK.

To easily access the total amount, you can generate the Unpaid Bills Detail report from the Vendors & Payables section.

If there is anything else I can do to help you in generating a vendor report specifying details, leave a comment below.
