Join nowHello @charles-degraff,
Your browsing history can be the reason why you're unable to enter an expense on the Expenses page. Thus, let's perform some browser troubleshooting steps so you can create and enter it successfully.
But first, may I know if you receive any error message? Any details you can share will be appreciated and can also help me search for any reports related to it.
Nevertheless, let's begin by accessing your account in a new incognito or private window of your browser. This way, we can check if this issue is related to your current browser or not. To do so:
Once completed, you can log back in to your account and enter an expense. If you can do so without any issues, you can clear your browser's cache to optimize it. Also, your browser can start from scratch and improve your QuickBooks Online browsing experience.
However, if you're still unable to open it, let's switch and use a new browser application. Then, log back into your account and enter an expense from there.
Lastly, I've also included this helpful article that'll guide you in handling your expense transactions: Know more about the Expenses page.
If there's anything else that I can help you with, please let me know in the comment section down below. I'll be always around ready to help.
I am able to enter an expense however I am not able to save it. This has only happened since quickbooks changed the program recently. After you enter the expense there is no save button.
Glad to hear back from you, @charles-degraff,
Have you tried doing the troubleshooting steps provided by JonpriL? Opening your account in private browsing prevents cookies from being stored on your computer, making it a great place to identify any browser problems.
On the other hand, clearing the browser's cache removes the history or log files so you can start with a clean slate.
If you already tried the recommended steps and still getting the same odd behavior when entering expenses, I highly recommend contacting our Support Team. You can report the problem to our representatives so they create an investigation for your account and run some diagnostics to fix it.

The problem turned out to be scrolling when the window is reduced. That didn't work so the save button was not accessible. Making the screen full size solved the problem. The problem should be fixed.
Thanks for keeping us updated with the results, charles-degraff.
