Beforehand, please be guided that the Projects feature in QBO is only available to Plus and Advance subscriptions. If you're currently on the Simple Start and Essentials, you may consider upgrading your plan to maximize the feature.
To create a new project, kindly follow the steps below:
- Log in to your QBO account.
- Go to the Projects menu and click New project.
- Enter a Project name and select your customer on the Customer dropdown.
- Fill in the project's duration on the Start date and End date section if needed.
- Choose its status in the Project Status field. Then, add Notes if necessary.
- Once done, hit Save.
