How do i delete a customer?

Let me get into your customers' menu to help you remove them in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In QuickBooks, there’s no option to permanently delete a customer. Otherwise, we can make their profile inactive in your lists. This way, those customers will be removed from all your reports and so forth. I’ll show you how:

1. From the left navigation pane, select the Customers & Leads menu.
2. Select the Customers tab.
3. Look for the customers you want to be removed or inactive from your lists.
4. Click the dropdown icon under the Action column. Then, select Make inactive.
5. Click Yes to confirm the removal.
