How do I itemize my bank statements in separate folders individual?

Hello there, @tileitrightinc.

I'm here to ensure you can itemize your bank statements or transactions. This way, you'll be able to group them according to its purpose.

Currently, itemizing your bank statements in separate folders is unavailable. However, you can use the Tagging feature in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) to group your transactions.

To start, you'll have to turn on the Tagging feature first in the QuickBooks Labs window. This will activate the option and lets you manage your transactions.

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Select Labs under About you.
  3. Click the Turn it on button in the Tagging section.

I've attached screenshots below for your reference.

Once done, you'll be routed to the Transactions menu to start grouping your bank transactions. Here's how:

  1. Locate the transaction, then click the Tagging icon under the Category and Tags column.
  2. In the Tags field, type in the name of the tag.
  3. (Optional) Select a color.
  4. Tap the Enter key to save the tag.
  5. Click Save.

Then, you can select the Tags button to view the transaction that's related to a specific tag.

In addition, you can also filter the type of your transactions in the Transactions menu. This will let you categorize the transaction you want to view. Just click the Type drop-down arrow to select.

If you wish to categorize your transactions in your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account, you can check out this article for the detailed steps: Categorize transactions in QBSE. It also contains information on how to edit the transaction you already reviewed.

Please let me know if you have other concerns. I'm just around to help.
