How do I see my most current invoices? The new way doesn't show them the way I like it.

I’ve got the steps for locating your recent invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @West723.

All invoices including the recent one can be located in one menu. Thus, I’ll walk through it to review or edit them if you need to. Here’s how:

1. Go to the Sales menu and navigate to the Invoices tab.
2. From there, you can see all invoices created within the application.
3. To narrow down the results, we can filter the Dates according to when the transactions were created.
   

    

Other than that, we can utilize the search bar where you can type in your invoice details or see recent transactions under your company file. You can refer to the snapshot I added below:

I'll share the steps on how you can locate the most recent invoices in the mobile app. 

Follow these steps if you're using an iOS device:

1. Go to the main menu and select Invoices.
2. Proceed or tap the Search bar.
3. Tap Date and select Today or the date of the invoice that you're looking for.

If you are on an Android device, the process is very similar. Here's how:

1. Go to the main menu and select Invoices.
2. Proceed or tap the Search bar.
3. Tap the Funnel icon and select a date to see the latest invoice. 

In addition to filtering invoices, you can also tap Sell all activity on the Home page in the mobile app. This will show you a chronological list of all sales transactions and activities.

On Quickbooks online, how do you change it so that the default shows the most recent invoices first as I understand that I can click the up arrow to show the most recent invoice but this is annoying as you have to do it everything you go to invoices. The default setting shows 12 months showing first the ones from 12 months ago which is a joke as why would quickbooks set it up this way people will always want to see the most recent invoice at the top of page one.

I understand that sorting the most recent invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is important to your business. I can assure you that you with the right path with me.

QuickBooks continuously provides updates to the software to accommodate various business needs, the default sorting of invoices in the Invoice page is how QuickBooks works as of now and it isn't currently possible to change it.

As a workaround, you can consider running the Invoice List report to show the current invoices for this month to date. Since the sorting of the invoices can't accommodate. I suggest submitting feedback to sort the most recent invoices you need.

Here's how to send feedback:

1. Go to Settings on the Gear icon, then select Feedback.
2. Type in your comments or product suggestions.
3. And then click Next to submit feedback.
