1. Ensure you have a project created first and an account that best represents the hotel expenses (Travel Expenses).
2. Select Projects from your left pane.
3. Click on the Add to project dropdown, then select Bill.
   
   
4. Go to the Item details.
5. In the Product/Service column, press + Add new. You can choose Non-inventory or Service. Then, enter the necessary details to make an item.
6. When done, enter the amount and select the name under Customer / Project.
7. Tap Save or Save and Close. QuickBooks Online will automatically create a Billable Expense Charge for you after.
8. To bill the transaction, click on Create Invoice.
