I’m trying to move income to last month, how can I do it

Hi there, throwmeabone4.

Welcome aboard to the Intuit Community. Moving your income has never been easier, and should only take a couple of minutes.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Transaction menu on the left panel to select the Add Transaction tab.
  2. Type in the amount and a description of the entry.
  3. Classify the transaction by choosing the Browse the Select a category menu.
  4. If you have a receipt, drag and drop it onto the form.
  5. Then, press the Save button.

However, if the transactions are already recorded, simply open each one to change the period to the correct month. Let me show the process.

  1. Go to the Transaction menu on the left panel to open the list of entries.
  2. From there, pick the transaction you're working on and then click the arrow pointing to the right to expand the line.
  3. Click the Date field box to enter the correct month.
  4. Once done, hit Save to keep the changes.

For an overview of entering income and expenses, check out the Manually add transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed article.

Additionally, the following link will guide you through the process of how to enter historical entries: Record data.

Let me know if you have any other questions or clarifications. I’m here to answer them for you. Enjoy the rest of the day.
