Welcome to the Community, @kenny-betz-solid. Let's collaboratively troubleshoot the issue to address the challenges of being unable to show the Cost column in the products and services view in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In some instances, browsers may exhibit unusual behavior due to frequent page visits. To resolve this, log in to your QBO account using a private browser to access the product with a fresh start. You may utilize these keyboard shortcuts:

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

Once resolved, return to your original browser to clear its cache or consider switching to a different supported one. It's likely a temporary issue with QBO or your current browser.

Additionally, you can run reports to obtain valuable insights into your purchasing and selling activities, along with a comprehensive overview of your inventory status.

Let me know if you need additional assistance performing specific tasks in QBO. I'm always here to help you out. Keep safe!

Still a no go unfortunately, exports are showing correct values, just not on this Products & Services list view.

Thank you for your time, Kenny

I appreciate you for following the steps I shared above, @kenny-betz-solid.

Usually, the cost will show if it's properly set up when creating an item.

Since, you've mentioned that when you export the product and services the cost will show, I recommend contacting our Technical Support Team since the Community is a public forum and we'll need to collect some personal information to pull up your account. They'll be able to perform a screen-sharing session to do further investigation into this behavior. Here’s how to get in touch with our representatives:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click the ? Help button at the top right corner.
  3. Go to the Search tab, then select Contact Us.
  4. Enter a brief discussion with your concern, then click Continue.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us.

Once you're good with all of your transactions, you can now proceed to reconcile an account in QBO. If everything matches up with your bank or credit card statements, you know your accounts are balanced and accurate.

You're always welcome to get back to me if you have any other follow-up questions regarding QBO. I’ll be around ready to back you up. Keep safe!
