Inventory Reports That Account for the Inventory Allocated to an Estimate

I am wondering if anyone has ever written a report that can look at all of my pending Estimates and determine how much of my current inventory would be consumed by the SKU's selected in my estimates?  In other words I am looking for a proactive inventory management tool that references my estimates and can trigger inventory re-order points based on what I plan to sell in the estimates.  Does anyone know of a plug in or report that could help me with this?

Inventory Reports That Account for the Inventory Allocated to an Estimate

Hello, @DoubleDD.

I'm happy to share some information about running reports in QuickBooks Online.

At this time, we're able to run a report that shows your pending estimates. However, we can't show the items use from each of them. For now, you can manually track the inventory used on those transactions and their corresponding quantities.

Here's how to run a report to see your pending estimates:

  1. Look for Estimates by Customer from the Reports page, then tap it to open.a22 5.PNG
  2. Go to the Customize button.a22 6.PNG
  3. Select Pending from the Estimate Status, then click on Run report.a22 7.PNG
  4. From there review the items used for each estimate.

As always, feel free to read the topics from our help articles as your guide while working with QuickBooks in the future.

Post again if you have any other questions. I'm a few clicks away to help. Have a good day!
