I’ve got you covered, @tifNaseer.
There are several solutions that help you resolve issues that cause QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to stop working. One of them is to run Quick Fix my Program from the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
Before that, you’ll want to download and install the tool first. Here’s how:
- Close QuickBooks.
- Download the most recent version of the QuickBooks Tool Hub, then save the file.
- Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
- Follow the on-screen steps to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
- Double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub.
Once done, you can now run the Quick Fix my Program. I’m glad to show you the steps.
- In the QuickBooks Tool Hub, select Program Problems.

- Select Quick Fix my Program.
- Start QBDT and open your data file.
If the same things happen, you can use this reference to fix the issue: Solutions for when QuickBooks has stopped working. Just proceed to solutions 2-3.
