Welcome to the Community, @Zoll. I can share a report that will help you track your class data in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Before anything else, were you referring to QBO Simple Start when you mentioned 'basic QB Online'? If so, please know that Class Tracking is only available in QBO Plus and Advanced Subscription. You can consider upgrading your account to utilize the feature.
However, if you're subscribed to a Plus or Advanced subscription, you can run the Transaction List by Date report, group it by Class, and apply a specific report period to display monthly activity reports.
Please note that you can only filter the report to a specific class when tracking transactions using a parent class. On the other hand, if you have sub-classes, they will be obtained together with the parent class.
Here's how:
- From the Reports page, search for Transaction List by Date.
- Click the Group By option. From there, select the parent class in the dropdown menu.
3. You can then customize the report date by clicking the Report Period dropdown.
Furthermore, if you want to export the report of your transactions in QuickBooks, refer to this article: Export your reports to Excel from QuickBooks Online.
Feel free to drop a comment in the thread for further information about running reports in QuickBooks Online. We're always here to assist you.
