New invoice forms. I have tried everything by creating a new template and set what I want to seen, but when I create an invoice it is still showing everything.

Ex; I clicked only show description (not product #) but product # appears on the invoice anyway

I've got your back, info2035. Ensuring that every detail of your invoices aligns with your specific needs is essential for upholding clarity and professionalism in every business. Let's collaborate to guarantee that the product # isn't shown.

Product numbers are important for internal tracking and inventory management. However, they may not always be necessary for your clients to see. Once you customize your invoice design to exclude the SKU, it shouldn't show up in your sales form. I'll lay down the steps below to help you confirm if this section is hidden in the invoice template you created. This way, you'd be able to ensure it won't display when printing:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and choose Custom Form Styles.

  2. Find the template you want to personalize and click the Edit button.

  3. Tap the Content tab, then select the pencil icon in the middle segment.

  4. Make sure the SKU box is unchecked.
  5. Hit the green Done button.

If the issue persists, you can use a Non-Airy template to automatically exclude the SKUs.

Curated invoices can improve communication and enhance transparency and understanding. The instructions I've provided should help you achieve this goal of preventing the product #s from showing in your invoices, info2035. If you need further assistance, please feel free to ask. I'd be happy to lend a helping hand.

I have done all that when I created the invoice and just checked it again.

Every thing is correct, but it still shows up when I preview or print.

Your efforts and time spent following my colleague's resolution are appreciated and valued, info2035. Let's explore ways to determine why you're still seeing the Product # even after creating a template without it.

After creating the template, you'll need to choose it as a design for your invoice, or you can directly set it as a default template. This way, the system will generate the preferred outline for your sales transaction. To do this, you'll also need to choose this selection in the Design section on the Invoice window and remove the Modern style as a default one. Following this order, the template with the disabled SKU will be used for your invoices.

I'll show you how:

  1. On the Invoice page, select Payor view.
  2. From the Design tab, click Remove default.
  3. Once done, click Print and download.

On the other hand, you can choose the Customization tab and toggle off the SKU option.

However, if you've performed the abovementioned steps but still encountered the same issue, I suggest we perform some basic troubleshooting procedures. This way, we can determine if this is a browser-related issue.

I'll lay the following steps:

  1. Try using a private or incognito browser.
  2. Restart your browser.
  3. Clear your browser's cache.
  4. Add Intuit as a trusted site.

I'm here to support you throughout this process, info2035. Please let me know if you have any other questions or if there's anything else I can do to assist you with managing your sales forms, just drop your comment below. I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Wishing you a productive week!
