Not sure how to explain without a picture but the layout of the expense screen is all different. I was able to use it but when I wanted to create an invoice it cant find?

There are lines at the top of each row and the layout is more like an excel file now.  Almost like someone is working on it.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. I'd like to share some insights about the new layout in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

QBO has released a new estimate and invoice experience. Here's how to check which experience you have:

  1. Select + New.
  2. Select Invoice or Estimate
  3. If you see New by the form title, you're currently using the new experience.

 

If you wish to return to the old layout, you can click the Old layout button on the top right corner of the screen.

If it's not showing on your end, I suggest sending feedback so our product developers will read your inputs and consider them for future improvements in the program. Here's how to do it:

  1. Click the Gear icon, then select Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then select Next to submit feedback.

 

Additionally, if you can't see your billable expenses on your invoice screen, you'll need to tick them as Billable when you first create them. This way, they'll automatically appear in the suggested transactions list when you create an invoice.
