We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback about the new invoice layout, pat50. I see that you want to switch back to the old one.
Can you tell us what type of subscription you're using? QBO Simple Start and Essentials customers have been fully transitioned to the invoice layout. If you're under these plans, you will no longer have the option to go back to the old format.
If you're using QBO Plus or Advanced, follow these steps on how to switch back to the old layout:
- Click the +New menu and select Invoice.
- Once opened, click the Old layout icon located at the top right corner of the page.
I also understand getting used to the new layout can take some time, but we want to assure you that it offers several benefits that you may find helpful in the long run.
For instance, you can receive alerts when a customer has accepted and paid a transaction, preview what your customers see, and offer more payment options like PayPal and Venmo.
