Thanks. There are 5 invoice templates and none of them line up the from and to address in a standard size window invoice envelope (as far as I can tell).

In QBO, they don't have a Layout Designer like on the QuickBooks desktop as already said. (One less major feature in QBO). In QBO, they've DOCX "Import custom form styles for invoices" still in QuickBooks Labs. No real improvements for several years. Too many issues not addressed.

You can get more information here if interested:

In fact, Sales Forms customization was the #1 QuickBooks Online Feature Requests by QBO users. Unfortunately, they recently decided to close down the OPEN PUBLIC suggestions board. You can still send them Feedback but is not OPEN but PRIVATE now.

Did you find a solution for this? The custom styling is very limited with customization.

It's great to see you here in the thread, @usernameonetwothree.

I can see how having the Invoice layout designer option in QuickBooks Online (QBO) can make it easy for you to personalize your invoices inside your company file. As I carefully check here on my end, the feature you're trying to access is unavailable.

To help you get through this, I'd recommend resending feedback to our Product Development Team. This way, once they see your recommendation, they'll consider adding it to the next program update. I'll gladly input the steps below so you can proceed. To begin, these are the steps:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the top right-corner, click the Gear icon.
  3. Below the Profile column, select Send Feedback.
  4. Enter a brief description of your feature request.
  5. Once you're ready, press Send.

In addition, here's an article to help you manage invoice payments: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.

I'll be more than happy to have you here if you have any additional QuickBooks-related concerns or need help accomplishing tasks inside the program. Feel free to drop by again. Stay safe, and have a good one!
