Thanks for taking the time to post your concern here in the Community, @MrsCrawdaddy. I'm here to make sure you can run a report with the specific date you need in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
We can customize the Customer Balance Detail report to show the invoice payments dated from 12/01/2021 – 12/31/2021. Here's how:
- Open your QBDT file.
- Go to the Reports menu, then click on Customers and Receivables.
- Select Customer Balance Detail.
- Filter the dates and other customizations.
- Review your invoices and payments from there.
You can refer to the screenshot below for sample customization:
On the other hand, you can adjust the reporting period to show the paid invoices in 2022.
