Welcome to the Community, @sfp.

The information on your invoices emailed to your customer depends on the template in your QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Let's confirm that your current template has the Product or Services feature checked so that the items will appear on the invoices sent to your customers. You can follow the steps below:

1. Go to the Gear icon, then select Custom Form Style.

2. Choose the template currently set as default, then click Edit.

3. Select the Content tab in the middle of the form, then mark check on the Product/Services option.

4. Click Done once finished.

Make sure that you have applied the custom invoice template you created. This will ensure that it is the one used for the invoices you send to your customers. To apply it, while creating an invoice, select the Customize option below, then choose the personalized invoice template previously created.

However, if your customer still can’t see the items in your emailed invoices after doing the steps I laid out above. Let’s perform troubleshooting steps so that changes made to your account will go through. Start by logging in to your QuickBooks Online account using a private or incognito browser. You can use these keyboard shortcuts below:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

From there, check if your customer can see the item in your email by sending a sample invoice to your email. If your invoices have the listed items, return to your regular browser and clear its cache. Clearing your cache helps clean up browser cookies that block web pages from loading.

You can check further information about personalizing your invoices forms in this article: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Once you have sent invoices to your customers, you will need to record their payments. You can read this article to learn how to do it.: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.
