Reporting for Item Price List

Hi! Is there a way to see the date a price was created and when the price was updated? I want to be able to see and report how much the item in QuickBooks Desktop has increased over the years and when. Thank you!

Reporting for Item Price List

Thank you for turning to the Community about your concern, caad.

The option to view the creation and update dates of an item's price is currently unavailable. It would be a fantastic idea to incorporate a built-in report that lets you view the mentioned data within the software to improve user experience. You can forward this suggestion to our engineers as input for consideration in future enhancements.

Here's how:

  1. In your company file, head to the Help menu at the top bar to choose Send Feedback Online and Product Suggestions.
  2. This action will open the QuickBooks Feedback window.
  3. From there, click the Type of Feedback drop-down to select Product Suggestion.
  4. Press the Product Area drop-down and choose which area in QuickBooks needs improvement.
  5. Then enter your product suggestions in Here is my suggestion box.
  6. Fill in the remaining fields.
  7. Click Send Feedback.

I don't want to leave you empty-handed here. I've included a resource that contains articles on how to build inventory reports and manage other inventory-related tasks: Create and run inventory reports.

You can also save the Community link in your browser for future use. From there, you'll learn how to deal with tax notices, manage your cash flow, process payroll, and other accounting-related activities.

Fill me in if you have other QuickBooks concerns or additional questions about running item reports. I'd be delighted to respond to them. Have a great day ahead.
