Reports don't open at all after conversion from Windows

Please help! I saved the copy of Windows file as QBB (MAC), and opened it on MAC. I was unable to open any reports. Chart of Accounts are there with correct balances, I can browse through my journal entries, but reports just wouldn't open. Is there anything I need to turn on?

I appreciate your advice!

Thank you

Reports don't open at all after conversion from Windows

Hello, gulyavaleyeva.

I'll lay down a few steps to help you open the reports in QuickBooks Mac.

There's no need to turn anything on to access your reports. This could be an issue related to data integrity.

To fix this, you'll want to run the Verify Data first to start the scan. Simply go to File, then select Utilities. Finally, choose Verify Data

If the scan has detected issues in your company file, you'll want to run the Rebuild process. Here's how:

  1. Go to File, then select Utilities
  2. Choose Rebuild Data.
  3. QuickBooks will prompt you if you want to make a backup or not. Select the options and proceed.
  4. Follow the onscreen prompts to start the rebuild process.

After rebuilding the company file data, try opening the reports again.

If the Verify process doesn't detect any issues (or if you still can't open a report), we can uninstall and reinstall QuickBooks Mac. You can open this article for the detailed steps: Reinstall QuickBooks for Mac using clean install.

After fixing the issue, I'd recommend visiting our QuickBooks Mac articles to help you with a certain task.

We hope you're staying well and safe during these times. If you have other questions or concerns, you can leave us a reply here.
