We are debating on whether or not to switch from Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2021 to Quickbooks Premier.
The only reason for the change is for a more thorough reports.
We are looking for a report that would show the customer job and enter each subcontractors bid for that job and then what we have paid that subcontractor so far and the balance due. When we print out the report we would want it to show all subcontractors for the job, their original bid, what we have paid so far and the balance due to each subcontractor. We are currently doing all of this in an excel spreadsheet. Which is a lot of extra work.
Would be nice to know if Quickbooks Premier can do this specific report before investing the extra money.
Thank you,
Pam

Let me share some insights regarding what QuickBooks Premier can do when it comes to reports.
QuickBooks Premier is an industry-specific version of QBDT. It contains over 150 reports that can help you check on how your business is doing.
However, being able to pull up a single report that shows the original bid what you paid so far, and the balance due to each subcontractor isn't available. This needs to be done on separate reports then export to Excel. This way, you can view the data of your subcontractor's bid and payments like what you're currently doing.

Thank you, that was what I was afraid of so I didn't jump into purchasing premier so quickly. When I spoke to a salesmen at Intuit, they said it could be done.
Pam
Consider having a construction management app with the subcontractor feature to integrate with your QBD Pro. If offers more specific features than QBD Premier.
