Buy nowI was running my sales by products/services summary report and two of my products are not showing on the cost of goods sold
Hi there, @jjsirrah.
I'm here to help you show sales items in the Cost of Goods Sold account in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Generally, the bill (expense) will show in the Cost of Goods Sold account if you've selected COGS as the account for that particular non-inventory item. We can run the Report option to view a report of transactions involving the COGS account.
Additionally, please make sure to clear all the filters and select the appropriate report basis or accounting method. It could be that a certain filter was applied to the report that's why the bill isn't showing.
Here's how to do it:
If you need to, you can adjust the quantity and recreate the inventory item. Please check these articles for more details:

I'm just a post away if you need a hand with customizing reports. Feel free to leave a message in the comment section. Keep safe, and have a good day!
Thank you so much DebSheenD for that but I did and even change the expense account to Merchandise but still having the same, I am now thinking of deleting the whole transaction and re-create it again. I appreciate it
Hey DebSheenD
Thank you for taking the time to respond to my message, I appreciate it but I think I did all that and even at a point in time change the expense account to Merchandise to no avail. I don't really know what I did wrong.
Thank you once again
